Short links
- Instagram does not use a dedicated short-link host here; paste the public Instagram URL.
Format availability
- Reels and public video posts resolve when the source exposes video formats.
- HD or high-quality labels appear only when returned by /api/resolve.
- Story links work only when they are public and still available.
Common failure reasons
- Private account
- Expired Story
- Login-required or restricted post
- No video format exposed

How the resolver handles this platform
- Transient Instagram failures are retried automatically before the page reports an error.
- Login-required and private-account content is not supported and fails with that reason.
- Expired Stories report expiry instead of a generic failure.
